Privacy policy

We do not sell your information. We do not track you across the web, and there are no advertising cookies on this site.

We keep what is needed for you to be a member, come to workshops, trade in the market and write with others — and no more.

Your email, your name and an encrypted password. What you write on your profile: a description, a picture, which crafts you know and would like to learn.

Your workshop registrations. What you write in the forum, in the library, in the market and in messages. The state of your membership and your receipts.

If you are here as a company and want an invoice, we also keep company name, address and VAT number.

The postcode is voluntary. We use it in one place: to show HOW MANY members live in the same area, so people can see whether there are enough nearby to start a community.

The map never shows names, only numbers, and only to members who are logged in. We do not store your address and no coordinates — only the four digits.

Payments go through Stripe. We never see your card number — it stays with Stripe, who are approved to handle it. We keep a customer id so we can find your membership again.

Private messages can only be read by those in the conversation. There is no administrator page where they can be read — not for us either.

The content of a message is never sent in an email. If you are told that someone has written, it says who — not what.

Only those necessary to run the place, and they may only use the information on our behalf:

Stripe (payment), Supabase (database and images), Vercel (hosting), mySMTP (sending email).

We do not pass information to anyone else — and we do not sell it.

Your profile stays for as long as you want it.

Bookkeeping we are required by law to keep for five years — that covers receipts, invoices and ledger entries, also if you leave.

If you delete your profile, we anonymise it rather than remove the row: your forum threads and what you shared in the library hang on it, and other people's conversations should not break because you move on. Your name and your email disappear.

We use two kinds: one that keeps you logged in, and one that remembers whether you read Danish or English. Neither follows you anywhere else.

We use Vercel Analytics to see how many people visit the pages. It counts visits — it does not build a profile of you.

You are only subscribed if you said yes yourself. We can see whether a letter was opened and what was clicked — we use that to write better letters. At the bottom of every letter there is a link that unsubscribes you in one click.

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it handed over or have it deleted. Write to dream@earthweavers.dk — we answer within a month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency.
